For the registration of free .com.np personal domain you need the picture of your citizenship card and cover letter for the request. And follow the step below.


Step 1 : First of all, go to register.com.np.

Step 2 : Check domain availabitility. i.e write your name as in citizenship card. If it is already taken then add numbers. eg ramsharma123

Step 3 : Create id and login.

Step 4 : After log in, a page appears asking the name server. ( Primary and Secondary Server) 

For this, you have to go to dns.he.net. You can get the server name from others also bt here we will be doing from dns.he.net . 

Step 5: Click on the register and fill up accordingly. After registration then log in. 

Step 6: Reload the page and click to add to new domain. Type the domain name that you want to register.
eg. ramsharma123.com.np

Step 7: Click on that edit button.

Step 8: Select ns1.he.net and copy paste to primary server in register.com.np . Similarly, copy paste ns2.he.net on secondary server. 

Note: Your work in dns.he.net for request of domain has been finished. Now be on resgister.com.np  page. But if you want to set up your blog on this .com.np domain then some work would be there to be done.

Step 8 : After name server, fill up the administrative and technical contact and proceed to next page. In administrative contact you can fill up the information as in citizenship card and in technical you can use your temporary address. Or you can copy information of administrative contact in the technical contact. Now you can proceed further.

Step 9: Now, select the document title (cover letter or citizenship card) and select the attachment of your cover letter and citizenship card accordingly.

eg. select citizenship and upload the photo of it and click save image. the picture would be uploaded and after that select the cover letter and click save image and it would be uploaded.

NOTE: The attachment size should be less than 800kb and should be in jpg format. The picture must be loaded in that page.

Step 10: After that, click to request domain. And in the next page you would see your domain name with status Your domain request is received and wait for approval. there you can see Active Domain  label.
If you have filled up correctly then wait for a day and check the domain status you can see your domain name in active domain list in that same page.

For the setup of your blog with your .com.np domain you have to wait for 24 hrs.
